Working alongside Presteigne Charter, SES supplied Channel 4 with one mobile production office and one expanding broadcast trailer to act as production units for their coverage of the European legs of the Formula One season.
The SES team provided a production office and a staff office. The production office was a large double gullwing scanner unit with Production control room, sound control room and three other edit rooms. The unit was fully fitted with state of the art Presteigne Charter broadcast equipment.
The staff office was a fixed 17t unit, with 2 fold out glass gullwings. It boasted a large production floor area, 4 offices and a small kitchen area. Both units were fully fitted with air conditioning and electrical points.
The European leg was fully operated by SES providing a team of experienced drivers to deliver transportation, set-up and de-rig, as well as on-site crew to resolve any issues and keep the trailers secure. SES provided an all-round service, from manufacture through to overseeing the live events.
